Psycho (1960)

Psycho is a shot-for-shot remake of Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 masterpiece. The film follows Marion Crane, a secretary who embezzles money from her employer and flees to California. During a heavy rainstorm, she stops for the night at the isolated Bates Motel, run by the awkward and reclusive Norman Bates who lives with his domineering mother in the mansion overlooking the motel. What begins as a simple overnight stay spirals into a nightmare of murder, madness, and dark family secrets. This modern reimagining brings Hitchcock's psychological thriller to a new generation while maintaining the shocking twists and iconic moments that made the original a classic.
